I started out as a Bikram girl back in ‘98. I was instantly hooked and went everyday for four months. After that I traveled for awhile and did a little more yoga in India. My practice really took off when I moved to NYC in ‘04. I fell in love with Freestyle Vinyasa (aka, vinyasa flow), but I also took advantage of all the great teachers that are either based in or pass through New York. In ‘07 I moved back to Toronto where I picked up a steady Mysore (aka, astanga) practice.
I love a lot of great teachers, but the ones who have had the biggest influence on me and my practice are (in chronological order):
Sascha of Bikram Yoga
David Regelin of Multi Intenso
Alison West of Yoga Union
David Robson of the AYCT
